Poverty: a definition

Everybody wants to do something really good for humanity. The question is: whom to help and how?
Ok, let's start with the definition of poverty. Read from here: The Meaning of Poverty
I am just borrowing some words from above url:
Much has been written about the meaning of poverty. What we find through our work and frequent visits to poor communities is that poverty:

  • deprives people of their security and well-being;

  • deprives people not only of safe water and adequate food, clothing and shelter, but also education and healthcare;

  • takes away people’s rights, and their freedom, dignity and peace of mind;

  • puts people's lives in danger and robs them of their future.
    Of course, poverty is not just about physical deprivation, it is also about lack of opportunity and loss of hope (poverty of spirit)

    Ok finding a poor is not tough and how to help them effectively is another part of the goal of this post.

    what can help:
    1. Better education
    2. Better health (supply of water, food)
    3.....

    May be we can start from one child and provide her/him these fundamental things.
